A few years ago, the two young, beautiful and talented students of Music Academy in Bydgoszcz met during the symphonic orchestra tour in Kopenhagen. They were Marta Bilińska a violinist and Monika Kamińska a violist. Since secondary school up to the present day the girsl have been actively taking part in many concerts in Poland and abroad (Germany, Astria, the Netherlands, France, England, Scotland, Italy, Spain, Hungary). Marta and Monika have been perfecting their abilities through the cooperation with famous instrumentalists and directors. They have participated in numerous competitions, workshops and festivals. At present they work for the Symnphony Orchestra of Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz and Symphony Orchestra in Toruń. They also collaborate with string quartets and other ensembles perfoming jazz and light music among others.

After a few years of mutual friendship Marta and Monika decided to found the ViolLadies duo. When it comes to the territory of Poland and Europe the ViolLadies duo is a unique ensemble of this kind. Apart of the original sound of electric instruments, the combination of talent, beauty and high artistic level of the artists determine the extraordinary character of the ViolLadies duo. Moreover, the delicate and bright sound of violin together with the soft, velvet, low-pitched sound of viola result in unforgetable sensations. The whole is complemented by the new, original arrangements of classical and film music, musical, klezmer, pop, dance, latin and rock hits.
